On September 2-6, the 62nd Scientific Congress of the Polish Chemical Society was held at the Warsaw University of Technology campus. This year’s conference began with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of PSC organized by the Board of the Polish Chemical Society, in which as a Student Section of PSC we also had the pleasure to get involved. During the celebrations, the lecture was given by the Nobel Prize laureate – Prof. Roald Hoffmann. During the ceremony the guests had also the opportunity to listen to the lecture by Prof. Bogusław Buszewski and prof. Zbigniew Galus on the history and functioning of PSC over the last century.

The conference gathered nearly 900 participants who gave numerous oral communications and presented many posters in 17 thematic sections. SSPTChem Board was also present at the Congress.

Thank you all for talking about learning, great time and new friends! We hope to see you soon at the SSPTChem Winter Congress in Gdansk!
