SS of PCS Winter Meeting took place on 8-9 December 2017 at Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. The symposium attended 105 participants, from many academic centres in Poland, who presented 68 posters of own research and 22 posters of literature research.
During the proceedings participants were able to take part in course “Application of biotransformation and magnetic nanotechnology in the preparation of enantiomerically pure therapeutic compounds of 2-arylpropionic acid derivatives” conducted by Dr. Tomasz Siódmiak (Collegium Medicum UMK).

Natalia Jurga for winning the first place for a poster from her own research, in addition to the book awards received a prize of 150 EUR funded by EVONIK.

The award from Trimen Chemicals S.A. won Alicja Zielińska (Nicolaus Copernicus Univeristy in Toruń) for the poster „Substitution of proton by deuterium as a potential factor affecting the properties of biologically active substances”.
The award granted by the Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of Collegium Medicum UMK in Bydgoszcz and the Student Association of Analytical Chemistry CM UMK received Karolina Augustyniak (Jagiellonian Univeristy in Kraków) for work ” The use of infrared spectroscopy as a method of imaging and modern spectrohistopathology ”
